Sevkabel has received a Certificate of Model Approval from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Russian Classification Society for halogen‑free and fire‑resistant ship cables.
Furthermore, the product has undergone mandatory certification to comply with the requirements of the technical regulations on fire safety established by Federal Law No. 123‑FZ.
To obtain these documents, extensive preparatory work was carried out: the products were put into production, manufactured on production lines, and prototypes were produced and sent for testing. The company had previously reported on the preparation of production lines for the manufacture of ship cables.
The test complex has been successfully completed in accordance with the documentation approved by the register and the classification society.
The documents obtained confirm that SvekaКабель products comply with the requirements of the RMRS and RKO rules, are safe for use on sea and river vessels, and do not pose a threat to the crew, passengers, and personnel.
The company’s cable products will be used in the design and construction of new civilian vessels, as well as in the repair of existing ones at Russian shipbuilding enterprises and shipyards.
